1.) What types of microorganisms does Microban ® work against?

Microban antimicrobial protection is effective against most common bacteria, like yeasts, molds and fungi linked to producing stains, odors and product deterioration.

2.) Is it safe for me to use?

	Microban protection has been certified safe after extensive independent lab testing. Microban is registered with the EPA for all applications in which it is used, including technology accessories.
	Microban protection has a long history of safe use and can be found in the leading brands of consumer, industrial and medical products around the world.
	Microban antimicrobial protection does not produce ever more stronger resistant strains of microorganisms. After more than 30 years of use in numerous consumer, industrial and medical applications, around the world, no evidence of resistant strain development has ever occurred. And would it since MICROBAN is not a chemical solution and therefore does not harm the environment.

3.) How long does Microban® antimicrobial protection work?

Microban protection is built in during the manufacturing process and will not wash off or wear away. Microban protection provides continuous antimicrobial product protection for the lifetime of the product.

4.) Does this mean I don't have to clean my keyboard?

No. Maintaining a clean environment helps keep Microban(c) antimicrobial protection fighting the good fight even better. Uncontrolled growth of damaging microbes, such as bacteria that WILL feed on plastic, cause permanent damage and in time left unchecked, will cause a yellowing effect. So once a month... wipe down your keyboard and mouse with alcohol.

5.) What is Microban ® and how does it work?

When microorganisms come in contact with the surface of your treated Microban object, the Microban technology then penetrates the cell wall of the microorganism and disrupts key cell functions, making it unable to function, grow or reproduce.
